Bakery Cottage is a home bakery within Melton Mowbray, run by Helen (me), in a 5* food hygiene approved kitchen.

I'm all about hearty delicious food made by hand with the highest quality ingredients. I specialise in decadent treats which make excellent gifts, a special thank you or to simply spoil yourself.

I grew up in Burton Lazars in the Melton Mowbray borough, in a house called Bakery Cottage. I have always had a love of baking from a young age and my most vivid memories are of baking. I have two girls under 9 and live with them and their Daddy (Andrew) in Melton Mowbray. The girls always want to bake with me and the younger of the two definitely loves cake!!
